I've decided that since it's summer vacation for my children I am entitled to a self-proclaimed vacation too. So today after I sprayed the weeds in the garden with weed killer and taught piano lessons all morning I kicked back and enjoyed the afternoon. My neighbor brought over chocolate chip cookie mix and we made cookies, fed kids Spaghettios for lunch, and watched The New Red Green Show and Roman Holiday (I love Audrey Hepburn! And Gregory Peck is quite handsome...) while munching cookies all afternoon. The kids ran wild. She threw together some dinner and we all ate at her house. The kids ran wild some more. I thoroughly enjoyed repressing my Inner Productivity Compulsion gene for an afternoon. Hmmm. This may become an addiction...
